Cincinnati HUD Office Closure

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced in April of this year that it planned to close a number of smaller field offices as part of a realignment of staff resources to better support program delivery.  Nationwide, HUD is closing 10 of its 80 field offices by the end of 2013.  This action will have a minimal impact on program delivery and customer service.

This realignment will better utilize staff and result in significant operational savings.  We will implement this realignment without disrupting the program delivery network currently serving your community.

Effective at close of business October 18, 2013 the Cincinnati HUD office is closed to the public. Going forward, HUD staff in Columbus, Ohio will work with local clients to ensure uninterrupted, quality service.  You will continue to be served by field offices in in Columbus and Cleveland.    Please reach out to your project manager to determine communication logistics moving forward.

In order to notify your residents please post the appropriate (PRAC or Section 8) notice (attached) in common areas of your properties and your offices that are located in the Cincinnati Jurisdiction (Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Warren Counties).

If you have any questions, your new contact will be Mr. Thomas Leach, the Field Office Director of the Columbus Field Office, 200 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.
