This presentation on submitting special claims for your Section 8 Multifamily Project will provide you and your property management staff with the basic skills needed to submit compliant special claims in order to recoup some funds from HUD due to vacancy issues, unpaid rent, and/or tenant damage.  This course will cover project eligibility to submit claims, submission requirements for the different types of claims, relevant documentation that you will need when processing the claim, and the resources that are available to you to help guide you through the process.

 

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be sent to MAHMA in writing at least five business days prior to the event.  Substitutions are accepted.  No shows will be billed.
