As a follow-up to the HUD Forum at NAHMAs October 2014 Meeting, NAHMA has shared the attached document which provides information on the reorganization of HUD Headquarters Office of Multifamily Housing and the recently created Office of Asset Management and Portfolio Oversight (OAMPO). The OAMPO replaces the Office of Asset Management and is part of the overall Multifamily Transformation initiative from HUD.
John Hall, the Deputy Director for the OAMPO, shared this presentation with NAHMA during his participation in the HUD Forum. The attached document outlines the structure of the OAMPO and the various program administration and oversight divisions that it encompasses. This document also provides information on how program authority is structured under the reorganized Office of Multifamily Housing.
Please find the presentation from John Hall attached. This document will also be available on the HUD Issues webpage at NAHMA.org under Important HUD Websites and Information.
