VAWA: The Final Rule Webinar

This is a 2019 update.  This covers the additional guidance HUD issued in June of 2017 which was extensive, also information on the new yet-to-be-issued VAWA forms, and the changes needed to their emergency transfer forms if they used the Model form issued by HUD in 2016.

As you know HUD issued the Final Rule on the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) on October 20 and on November 16 published it in the Federal Register.  The Rule is effective December 16 – this includes the new Notice and its requirements and the new Certification form.  In addition, the emergency transfer rule is effective in May 2017.  This webinar will focus on VAWA including the expected changes from the 2013 reauthorization Final Rule.
