In support of their continued effort to shape the Uniform Physical Condition Standards-Voucher (UPCS-V), HUD has invited NAHMA staff and seven (7) additional members to a feedback session currently scheduled for April 28th 2016, from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the HUD Headquarters Weaver Building, Suite A (Washington, D.C.). HUD is requesting feedback on a variety of topics related to UPCS-V which are listed in the attached agenda. In advance of the discussion, please find also attached a preliminary draft copy of the Dictionary of Definitions for UPCS-V.

Because of limited Participant space; HUD is requesting that attendees be full-time employees from Housing Authorities (HAs), who would be able to contribute positively to the discussions. Please feel free to share this invitation with members who are HAs.

Due to the large number of attendees expected, each attendee may only participate in one breakout session. HUD will do their best to accommodate each participant’s preference, but they are requesting you provide a first and second choice of topics to ensure each topic has sufficient representation.  The four breakout sessions include:

  1. Group A: Business Processes
  1. Group B: UPCS-V Protocol
  1. Group C: PHA Quality Assurance
  1. Group D: Impact on Voucher Program

Since this session will be held at a federal building, for security/check-in purposes HUD will need:

  • The Names of your selected participants
  • The last 4 digits of the social security number
  • The date of birth (DOB) of your selected participants

Please DO NOT email this information; instead please call Scott Mcmillen to RSVP at: (703) 683-8630, ext. 116,  by Thursday, April 15, so we can confirm your seat. Be sure to mention your preference for the breakout session that you would like to attend when calling. NAHMA will accept confirmations on a first come basis.

After we confirm your attendance with HUD, you will receive another email with detailed check-in procedures and other logistical elements in order to be able to enter the HUD building.
