1 February 2018
 February 1, 2018
Category HUD News, News
This webinar provides an overview of HUD’s Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) e-Tool and requirements for its use in Project Rental Assistance Contracts (PRACs). Emphasis is provided on when the CNA e-Tool is required, obtaining a CNA completed in the e-Tool, reviewing and submitting with the e-Tool, and the resources available to assist CNA e-Tool users.

Separate training is already available for assessors in completing a CNA using the e-Tool. This training includes a high-level overview of the e-Tool’s functionality, but focuses primarily on the role of PRAC owners in determining when the CNA e-Tool is required, reviewing the e-Tool provided by an independent assessor, and submitting the e-Tool to the Asset Management office.

Participants will learn:

  • Requirements for using HUD’s CNA e-Tool in PRACs
  • Unique aspects of reviewing and submitting the CNA e-Tool for PRACs
  • Resources that are available to assist CNA e-Tool users

Who Should Attend

This webinar is most relevant to private nonprofit organizations, nonprofit consumer cooperatives, and state housing agencies with PRACs. Capital needs assessors providing CNAs for PRAC activities may also find this webinar useful. This webinar is limited to 1,000 participants and registration for this training will close one hour before the webinar begins.
