Section 8 Contract Renewals & Rent Increases: Where Are We Now – Webinar

On February 2, HUD published in the Federal Register this notice: Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance: Standard Program Regulation and Renewal Contract; Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Request for Public Comment.   Comments are due from the Public on April 23.   Thereafter HUD will decide when and how to implement these significant changes.  This course will explain the various options available to Section 8 properties when it is time to renew a contract and/or obtain a rent adjustment.  And, depending where HUD is at in revising the rules, will include how the impending changes will effect owners.
