The NAHMA Educational Foundation has selected 118 student residents to receive scholarships this year. Each scholarship is worth $3,500; the total scholarship money awarded for 2024 is $413,000. Additionally, $2,000 will be donated to the Department of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management at Virginia Tech for scholarships for students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in property management.

“We take immense pride in the NAHMA Education Foundation’s ability to grant scholarship awards to students enrolled in a variety of community colleges, universities, and trade/technical schools across the nation,” said Anthony Sandoval, chairperson of the NAHMA Education Foundation. “As the NAHMA Educational Foundation moves into 2025, we will be renewing our efforts to not only secure more applications from across the country but also to increase the number of applications from students attending trade/technical schools. They are every bit as eligible as students attending traditional colleges, and we welcome applications from any resident looking to learn a trade or qualify for skilled certifications. We remain ever grateful to our donors and sponsors that make the scholarship program ‘go’ with their steadfast and unwavering support. We sincerely appreciate their continuing generosity.”

The NAHMA Educational Foundation is pleased to have created this legacy supporting resident academic achievement for the betterment of communities nationwide.
