HUD’s Real Estate Assessment Center and the Office of Multifamily Housing have received inquiries in response to an industry-issued email sent yesterday under the subject “Affordable Housing News of the Week.” The email newsletter included an erroneous notification regarding NSPIRE inspections being suspended. Please note that this is incorrect. NSPIRE went into effect on October 1, 2023 for the Multifamily portfolio, and inspections are underway. Please contact NSPIRE@hud.gov with any questions or visit the NSPIRE webpage for more information.
